Hair extensions Siddow Common
Thanks for visiting the website of Extra Length - home of the finest hair extension service for people in Siddow Common
At Extra Length, we use Remy Human Hair - this is hair that is kept with cuticles running in the same direction so that it does not knot, matt or tangle any more than your own hair.
The hair we use blends extremely well with your natural hair both in colour and texture.
What is Braid Weaving?
First the hair is plaited horizontally to the scalp and then wefts (rows) of hair are sewn onto the plaits. There are usually two or three rows depending on the length of the natural hair.
You can find further information on our Hair Extensions page.

Lace front wigs Siddow Common
In addition to hair extensions, we also provide lace front wigs, also known as lace front units. Lace front wigs are 100% INDIAN Remy Hair (cuticle hair) hand-tied to a lace base so that it looks as if hair is actually growing out of your head. No one would ever know if you are wearing a wig. The wig is more comfortable and more natural than a hard front wig. These wigs are versatile and can be cut to suite your style.
- There are two type of lace fronts. Full Lace Units - lace around the entire perimeter (used if you want to wear a high ponytail). Lace Front Units - a stretch cap with lace around the front only (you won't be able to wear a high ponytail)
- With Lace Fronts Units, you can achieve Change in length, colour and density and the addition of curls, waves or straightness

Hair weaves in Siddow Common
Because no glue or keratin is needed with a hair weave, hair weaves are thought to be better for the hair than bonded extensions as it a more natural process.
Weaves have an advantage over other methods of hair extensions. Weaves give more fullness than bonded extensions and will not fall out like bonds can.
We have more information on our Hair weaves page
