Hair extensions Gorse Hill
Thanks for visiting the website of Extra Length - home of the finest hair extension service for people in Gorse Hill
At Extra Length, we use a technique called braid weaving, which is a permanent method that can be worn indefinitely.
The hair we use can be re-used so you don't have to buy new hair every time your hair is maintained.
What is Braid Weaving?
First the hair is plaited horizontally to the scalp and then wefts (rows) of hair are sewn onto the plaits. There are usually two or three rows depending on the length of the natural hair.
You can find further information on our Hair Extensions page.

Lace front wigs Gorse Hill
In addition to hair extensions, we also provide lace front wigs, also known as lace front units. Lace front wigs are 100% INDIAN Remy Hair (cuticle hair) hand-tied to a lace base so that it looks as if hair is actually growing out of your head. No one would ever know if you are wearing a wig. The wig is more comfortable and more natural than a hard front wig. These wigs are versatile and can be cut to suite your style.
- Lace front units can be treated exactly like your own hair in terms of styling. As well as people wishing to change their hairstyle, lace units are greatly beneficial to those suffering from hair loss, such as people undergoing chemotherapy.
- There are two type of lace fronts. Full Lace Units - lace around the entire perimeter (used if you want to wear a high ponytail). Lace Front Units - a stretch cap with lace around the front only (you won't be able to wear a high ponytail)

Hair weaves in Gorse Hill
Weaves have an advantage over other methods of hair extensions. Weaves give more fullness than bonded extensions and will not fall out like bonds can.
Weaves look more subtle than bonded extensions as there is nothing really to see. As the name suggests, the hair is weaved to your own hair in a natural way.
