Hair extensions Compstall

Hello. We are Extra Length; the premiere mobile hair extension service for people in Compstall

All of the hair we use at Extra Length is natural 100% human Remy hair. It's the best hair available.

The hair extension technique we use is weaving. Weaves look more subtle than bonded extensions as there is nothing really to see.

What is Braid Weaving? First the hair is plaited horizontally to the scalp and then wefts (rows) of hair are sewn onto the plaits. There are usually two or three rows depending on the length of the natural hair.

You can find further information on our Hair Extensions page.

Lace front wigs Compstall

In addition to hair extensions, we also provide lace front wigs, also known as lace front units. Lace front wigs are 100% INDIAN Remy Hair (cuticle hair) hand-tied to a lace base so that it looks as if hair is actually growing out of your head. No one would ever know if you are wearing a wig. The wig is more comfortable and more natural than a hard front wig. These wigs are versatile and can be cut to suite your style.

  • Lace Wigs are handmade and designed for extended undetectable wear. Unlike regular wigs, lace wigs offer seamless blending at the front or along the entire perimeter of the head.
  • The hairline of a lace front wig is constructed of French or Swiss Lace and is virtually undetectable to the naked eye when placed against the skin.

Hair weaves in Compstall

After having a weave, take care when drying the hair. Pulling downwards will put stress on the hair and the tracks and cause looseness and possible breakage. The best way to dry the hair is to just blow over it with the hairdryer without using a brush or styling aid.

When you have had a hair weave, always thoroughly rinse around the tracks to ensure all shampoo and conditioner traces are gone as it is easy to miss some and if it is left in it can cause itching and a flaky effect.
