Hair extensions bottom-o-th-Moor
Extra Length is a mobile hair extension service for people in bottom-o-th-Moor
The hair extension technique we use is weaving. Weaves look more subtle than bonded extensions as there is nothing really to see.
At Extra Length, we use Remy Human Hair - this is hair that is kept with cuticles running in the same direction so that it does not knot, matt or tangle any more than your own hair.
What is Braid Weaving?
First the hair is plaited horizontally to the scalp and then wefts (rows) of hair are sewn onto the plaits. There are usually two or three rows depending on the length of the natural hair.
You can find further information on our Hair Extensions page.

Lace front wigs bottom-o-th-Moor
In addition to hair extensions, we also provide lace front wigs, also known as lace front units. Lace front wigs are 100% INDIAN Remy Hair (cuticle hair) hand-tied to a lace base so that it looks as if hair is actually growing out of your head. No one would ever know if you are wearing a wig. The wig is more comfortable and more natural than a hard front wig. These wigs are versatile and can be cut to suite your style.

Hair weaves in bottom-o-th-Moor
Bear in mind that with a hair weave, the tracks (plaits) will take a little longer to dry than the rest of the hair. Once the hair is dry straighteners can be used to style as usual.
As the name suggests, the hair is weaved to your own hair in a natural way. Weaves look more subtle than bonded extensions as there is nothing really to see.
